Freedom Fighters PC re-release - Everything you need to know Posted: 21 Sep 2020 06:15 AM PDT https://www.ioi.dk/freedom-fighters/ We're super excited to announce that Freedom Fighters, our cult-classic from 2003, will be available digitally on PC, starting today! We've got all the details about the extras we are packing in, a launch-week discount and more right here! Start off by watching our Announcement Video: https://twitter.com/FreedomGame_IOI/status/1308023371150626816?s=19 Back to 2003 It's been 17 years since Freedom Fighters was originally released. 17 years… Today, we're releasing the game digitally on PC for the first time, and it's exactly as you remember it from 2003; tactical squad-based gameplay, inter-connected missions across New York and a rebel base to call your own. We're excited to finally make the original 2003 game available digitally and have players re-live their favourite moments from the campaign. If you're completely new to Freedom Fighters, here's what you need to know: Freedom Fighters is an intense third-person action game set in an alternate history New York during the invasion of a foreign superpower. You'll take on the role of Chris Stone, a hard-working plumber, who must rise through the ranks of the resistance to prove himself as a charismatic leader. Throughout the campaign, you'll travel to various locations across the city and complete interconnected missions where your actions in one level affect the battles in another. You'll liberate supplies, scavenge weapons and use the 'recruit and command' system to grow the resistance and lead your squad of up to 12 freedom fighters into strategic conflicts. Command a single soldier or your entire squad to scout ahead, defend an area or follow your lead. Be tactical and take the fight to the invaders. They took your freedom. It's time to take it back. Bonus Content We know that Freedom Fighters is a much-loved franchise by many players who enjoyed it all those years ago. We love it too. That's why we've packed in some nostalgic extras for anyone who buys the game. – We've teamed up with legendary composer Jesper Kyd, to offer the full Official Freedom Fighters soundtrack. You'll get 16 tracks from the game in both MP3 and FLAC formats. The soundtrack also includes 2 bonus tracks that were never included in the game. – We also wanted to honour the experience of buying a game in 2003, so we've included the original PC manual as a downloadable PDF. Look out for a few blasts from the past, including tips for closing background applications on Windows 98! Launch Discount Freedom Fighters is available digitally on PC starting today via GOG, Epic Games Store and Steam – and you'll get the soundtrack and manual included regardless of where you choose to buy it. To celebrate the re-release of the game, you'll be able to re-join the resistance for just $9.99 in the first week. That's a massive 33% off the regular price. Stay up to date with all the Freedom Fighters news via our brand new Twitter account: @FreedomGame_IOI. That's our primary place to share news and updates about the game. [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Sep 2020 08:29 PM PDT Such a cool concept for a game. Loving the Hitman Easter eggs and the gameplay is a lot of fun. I made it through the first level. Looking forward to playing more of this tomorrow. [link] [comments]

Which level have you played the most? And which the least? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 07:29 AM PDT Note: I haven't played New York or Haven yet, so I won't be factoring those in. I think I'll end up playing both a lot when I do eventually buy that expansion pack. Also, not including sniper assassin levels. For me, my most played is either Paris, Sapienza or Hokkaido. I played the hell out of those first two levels back in 2016, getting almost 100% completion on them. The long wait between levels back then was a big reason for that. Also because they were the first "real" Hitman levels in a decade, so I was really excited to keep playing them over and over again. Hokkaido is a level I played a lot mostly because I really love the setting and the general vibe of it all, and also how challenging it is to kill Soders compared to basically every other target in the game. But it's mostly the map and atmosphere. Just so cool and unique and immersive. It's a level that I just like exploring and taking in the atmosphere. My least played is probably a tie between Colorado (not a surprise to anyone lol) and Isle of Sgail. Colorado doesn't need much explanation, really. The size isn't the problem, but there's just too many targets and it sometimes feels too linear and restrictive. Isle of Sgail... I expected to like this level more, because the setting and context is really cool. But I just don't enjoy the actual level design. It's another case of IOI making a large map but restricting the actual relevant areas (i.e. where the targets go) to a fairly small part of it. Also, is it just me or are the challenges way harder for this mission? So many of them take ages to complete, and are either really tedious or really difficult and finicky. As soon as I hit 20 mastery I never went back to this level because I had no motivation to complete a lot of the annoying challenges. [link] [comments]

Looking for a Sniper Assassin partner on Xbox Posted: 21 Sep 2020 03:20 PM PDT I looked for a megathread for this but I couldn't find one, so if there is one please give me a link. I need a partner to play the 3 sniper assassin levels, nothing special just a quick completion to get the multiplayer achievements. Thanks. GT: Adhsawhfi [link] [comments]
Anyone got any walkthroughs for Bangkok Master SASO? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 10:41 AM PDT I can't find one that actually works. I can get Morgan easily by poisoning his food, it's Cross that I'm really struggling with. Any help would be greatly appreciated [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Sep 2020 10:02 AM PDT Syringe that if you use on witness, they would forgot about you.For example, guard saw that you are doing some illegal stuff so you sneak behind him and inject him with this thing and then you would have your SA rating back [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Sep 2020 10:50 AM PDT Hi, I've just bought the digital release of Freedom Fighters and I'm very glad to have it. However, what I always liked to see in the PC version of the game is the multiplayer. I managed to play it through a PlayStation 2 emulator but it's sad that on PC the game doesn't include that mode. I hope that I'm not alone with that feeling and if more people are interested it might get to be implemented in some form. [link] [comments]
