    Introducing The Unique Silverballer replica

    Dear viewer,

today I am very proud to present you my most ambitious work. The unique Silverballer replica.

It's incomplete but I really can't wait any longer to show it to you. Unfortunately I have to stop because like many here in Italy I lost my job due to Corona virus and making the custom pieces cost's a bit. But once economy is up again and running I hope to make a new post with a complete replica in all it's glory.

My name is Alex. I was born in Romania but raised and still living in Italy on the Garda lake. I am a huge Hitman fan since the age of 11 and I fell in love with the series from the very first game Codename 47.

This replica was inspired from the Absolution version of the Silverballer

The gun is an airsoft replica INOKATSU Colt series 70's

All the accessories you see were 3D printed in titanium looking identical to the Silverballer's wallpaper

The original finish and markings of this replica were removed creating after a new finish and then master crafted engraved symbol and writings

Custom grip medallions with the Hitman symbol made by a jeweler

The white pieces you see in some photos are prototypes printed first in plastic to test the compatibility and size

The silencer is inspired from the Blackballer seen in the 2016 Hitman promotional art. I chose this silencer because for me personally is the best looking

The grips chosen as a display are meant to be the ones from Codename 47. I do also have the original Silverballer's but I want to give this gun more personalities

    Hope you enjoy it,

    Alex Badea

"No Evidence" should take more into account

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 04:16 PM PDT

I find the things the current iteration of the "No Evidence" achievement takes into account pretty underwhelming and think it would be a big improvement if ioi added several other factors besides "no bodies found" and "no camera recordings" for Hitman 3:

    • Not leaving the clothes you start with (suit/starting disguise) in the level. I really liked the feeling of changing back into your suit after a successful assassination in Blood Money and it just makes sense that people would wonder where this extra set of clothes comes from if you leave it in the level
    • Not leaving any other equipment you bring with you. For "Sniper Assassin" i often just drop the rifle where I stand after shooting the target and run to the exist since guards can find your rifle without any penalty. I don't think it's very professional for an assassin to leave the murder weapon or any equipment (like suitcases or melee weapons) behind.
    • Not leaving any blood puddles that aren't the result of accidents. They are pretty obvious evidence of a murder having happened and it's just weird that people don't react to it. Having to not create them or remove them would incentivise the use of the currently pretty useless fiber-wire and disincentives just shooting your target into the head at point blank range, which is currently the most efficient way and kinda feels messy and unclean.

I think those changes would be both more realistic and create more interesting gameplay. What do you think?

    [SPOILER][not really] Question about Providence/Lore

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 08:12 PM PDT

(The Spoiler notice is just because I discuss plot, but considering how old Hitman 2016/Hitman 2 is, I don't know if it's needed. I am only keeping it to abide by the subreddit's rules)

    Hello, Reddit!

I am a new player to Hitman (2020 Gang, where you at?), and I am very interested in this game's lore, so much so that I sort of Wikipedia'd the whole game's lore. And something stuck out to me, as a writer/nitpick of worldbuilding: why would Providence want to overthrow the Moroccan government via coup d'état?

This goes into worldbuilding, but a secret society needs motive. I assume we don't know their full motive, besides the vague "control world politics" line. However, their development and production of the virus in Sapienza made sense. They wanted a specialized virus to eliminate any perceived threats. But why do they want their right hand man in Morocco? What does Morocco have that the US, UK, France, Germany, etc doesn't?

There needs to be some form of motive. The coup is needed for their ulterior motive. The whole storyline with Grey and how he manipulated the ICA was brilliant. Everything made logical sense, from the IAGO list in Paris to the coordinated attacks on Providence and the subsequent (accidental) cover-up by the ICA. Yet, our friends at Providence seemingly chose Morocco because of how beautiful the country is. If someone actually knows this, I would appreciate it.

Tl;dr: Why did Providence specifically want to launch a coup in Morocco? How did it fit their goals?

Thank you, and sorry if I rambled

    The One and Done Challenge

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 02:04 PM PDT

So I was watching a friend stream the latest Hitman 1 & 2 on Discord, and as a joke I suggested to him the weirdest challenge I could think of- The One and Done Challenge:

    1. Any item you use (gun, lockpick, random melee item, etc.) you must immediately drop as soon as possible and never use that item again.

1a.) What counts as an item is anything you can pick up and put in you inventory while in a level or while selecting your loadout.

I.) By this technicality, this mean you can use your fists to knock npcs out as many times as you want

1b.) What counts as a using an item is if it actively changes the world state (kills an NPC, destroys a camera, unlocks a door, etc.).

2.) You can use disguises during the mission, but you change outfits you can no longer use that disguise or any previous disguise used on that mission.

3.) You are still allowed to use duplicates of items as long as you haven't used that particular item during the mission. (E.g. if you use a specific pistol A, you may use any variant of pistol A as long as it is not the specific pistol A that you used earlier.)

3a.) The duplicate clause does not apply to Disguises/Outfits

Optional Clauses: 1.) Boycotting- Once you use a specific item, you can no longer use any other variant of that item (E.G. If you use any brand of Pistol A, you are no longer allowed to use any variant of Pistol A)

2.) Dry Cleaning's Expensive Man- you are not allowed to change into any outfits/disguises. You must keep the outfit/disguise you chose while picking your loadout

    (. . .)

And that's it, if you have any more suggestions, post them in the comments. And to those who try to attempt this challenge, good luck Agents.

    Blood Money or Absolution?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 11:26 AM PDT

I've been replaying both lately. The mechanics of Absolution I think are better but the story in Blood Money is more captivating.

Which game do you guys think is superior?
