    Why was Contracts so dark?

    Posted: 15 Mar 2020 10:04 AM PDT

Contracts has to be the most disturbing game in the series. Like that one mission when you go to the slaughter house to rescue some girl who is seen hanging upside down, chopped up, and with the eyes cut out. That scared me when I was younger. Not to mention every mission in the game takes place at night. Plus the music sounds eerie and creepy. It's like 47 is trapped in a never ending nightmare. Imo Contracts is so dark and gritty it makes Silent Assassin and Blood Money look like Disney.

Who do you think the final target in hitman 3 should be and what map do you think they should be in?

Do Hitman/Hitman 2 erase the events of the previous games?

    Posted: 15 Mar 2020 11:40 PM PDT

I realize they're meant to be "reboots" insofar as they've rebooted the franchise back into popularity/development but do the new games retcon or erase anything from the old ones? I've never seen anything explicit saying one way or the other and none of the previous game's events ever seem to be mentioned.

Some seemingly unpopular opinions I hold about the series

    Posted: 15 Mar 2020 12:21 PM PDT

    1. Codename 47 was really good

    2. Hitman 2 was overrated as hell

    3. The Afghanistan missions in Hitman 2 weren't that bad

    4. Hitman: Contracts is the best game in the series hands down

    5. Bjarkhov Bomb was a good mission

    6. Beldingford Manor wasn't that good

    7. The remakes of Codename 47 in Hitman Contracts were good

    8. Death of a Showman in Blood Money wasnt that bad because the storyline was really good

    9. Flatline was a good mission

    10. Murder of Crows was overrated as hell

    11. Fuck Death on the Mississippi to hell

    12. The "Assassin Instinct" feature in the new games is stupid as hell

    13. Agent 47 looks too skinny in the new games

    14. I'm pretty disappointed they didn't make the ICA training area look much like the Training Area from Hitman: Contracts.
