Is there any point to the Mumbai metal foundry?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:02 AM PST

I just wanna know if I'm missing something, but judging how little 2 out of 3 targets move and the mission stories the metal plant just seems completely pointless. Like I can't see any reason to go there ever.

Haven Island - The pleasure trophy bugged?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:48 AM PST

I tried going after the trophy "the pleasure" for Haven Island, where you have to shoot 14 skulls. The skull on the southern island on the chair was not there, and I tried looking at it from different angles (with the sieger 300). It was the last one I needed so I couldn't get the trophy.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Hitman: Hokkaido, Sapienza, Paris, Colorado, Marrakesh, Bangkok

H2: Whittleton creek, Miami, Isle of Sgail, Santa fortuna, Mumbai

I haven't played New York or haven island yet.

Edit: I hate Bangkok so much.

I've heard many debates and wondered what you guys think. I personally think it shouldn't be in the game as it takes away a lot of the fun of coming up with and completing your own methods for killing as a pose to just throwing an item and leaving the mission. Thoughts?

After every mission you get a written and possibly voiced/news-style report of the player's performance like in Blood Money to review what you did and give it a more engaging effect than a simple results screen, and to create room for a few new mechanics listed below.

A: Take out a target in view of a witness or camera with a certain disguise to "Pin the Murder" on that person. With varying levels of complexity, sometimes its just a random NPC and the report at the end would mention something along the lines of "The primary suspect is the Chef seen in this footage grabbing the victim and moving them to another room". Or perhaps take out a target unnoticed but also find that person's locker or office or station and place an object related to the target inside in order for investigators to find it later. Or perhaps you took the disguise of someone that had an argument with the target previously in the level, or a wife/husband, things like that which wouldn't be necessarily tied to (and limited by) a specific Story and instead be more flexible and have more options.

B: Create a shop for additional gear so that players can choose what to acquire next instead of being forced to replay a linear mastery unlock tree to get certain things, pay the player in Continental Coins of some kind for every mission so that the player can pick what ever they want to buy as they play through the game (So you could unlock the sniper for every mission after beating [x] missions and getting enough gold for it, instead of having to unlock it per-mission after replaying each several times, for example).

C: New mechanics to Cameras as they keep track of 3 things.
    * 1: Which disguise you have if any.
    * 2: What your GAIT is (if you are running or not).
    * 3: The TIME you crossed the camera. So wearing a specific disguise and being seen at [x] location may add to the "Pin the Murder" mechanic, while also being a potential downside If the only person seen with the target during the target attack was later seen leaving the area by a camera, lowering/increasing the score in more complex and meaningful ways.

D: Stories can be followed but also customized, if the logic of the objective is "Find a way inside [x]" then you can figure out and pick which way to do so, instead of the objective saying "Find the key HERE".

E: Customizable clothing for different styles and locations, not just set outfits. So players can unlock different shirts and pants and things and combine them in different ways.

F: 4 or 5 big locations Miami-style, but an additional 10 or so smaller locations like the tutorial level for Hitman 2, more akin to LEVELS not MAPS, smaller scale but with more diversity.

G: A real 1v1 Multiplayer, this is a big one.
    * You start at a random location and so does your opponent, you start with a random outfit and NPC model and so does your opponent, you both get the objective to take each other out.
    * The NPCs on the map would behave like usual but also move from place to place, sitting at benches then leaving them and going to lean on a wall, similar to what Black Flag did with multiplayer 8 years ago.
    * Points at the end are awarded like in single player for things like Unnoticed Kill, Body Hidden, Weapon Choice and stuff.
    * Players CAN change outfits too but not character models, so a player would run the risk of being already seen as a character model now in different clothing, you can also find their clothes on the floor and use them/take note of them to know your opponent changed clothes (but it doesnt alert any AI).
    * Once you or your opponent is down, it becomes a single player game trying to escape for points without being spotted by a cop or something, and the other player can leave the match at this point or spectate to see them do it or fail, and how they do it.
It should basically be a mix of Splinter Cell Blacklist, Hitman and Black Flag.

H: Sniper Mode on ALL MAPS.
    * Different sniping spots as "starting locations" you can unlock after you beat 1, in order.
    * 2 modes for each location: Predetermined means you can perfect your run and stuff and all NPCs do the same thing always, while Random just picks random NPCs that are in view of the location to be primary targets. Points awarded as usual for hidden kills and stuff.

I: The Story. The World has caught on the fact that the Agency and 47 exist, and has developed an answer. They have trained Agents of their own specifically to hunt 47. So you have unique story missions where you have to deal with some kind of assassin trailing you, and adapting to your moves, and either trying to stop you from getting your target, or being the target themselves but being MUCH HARDER TO GET TO forcing the player to be more cunning and clever, possibly even setting traps for 47, or even causing the hunter to become the hunted. The idea is that you are not just going after NPCs that have glaring weaknesses and invite you to join them in a dark alley, but trained lethal agents that would offer interesting and intelligent challenges. And still have weaknesses and flaws of course just much trickier and harder to find ones. (Edit note: Lore wise this could also explain the multiplayer mode with non-47 character models, perhaps they are these Agents training/trying to outdo each other in order to be qualified) .
