I always had this insane idea for an Hitman spinoff Posted: 28 Jul 2020 04:09 AM PDT You are an obese agent called Agent 300 (300 pounds) that much like agent 47 has to kill targets but the gameplay is more difficult because of your weight, like you have to check your heartbeat so you can't run for too much time, you can't crouch and you can't climb, if sour heartbeat stays in the red zone for too much you get an heart attack. The trade off for that is that your character is more charismatic, and has abilities like distracting and persuading people with your eloquence and also you are less suspicious because no one suspects a fat man, for disguising you have to find other obese people. You are also an incredible marksman that can fire every weapon without blowback putting to shame agent 47, and you are also more tanky and can survive many shots. And also I would keep the same soundtrack as Hitman but remade with the saxophone instead of synth. The game would be called "Fatman" The cover art would be something like Hitman Absolution but in one hand he has a silverballer and in the other a sandwich. So, what do you think? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:08 PM PDT I have been playing this series for a long time now. I played the crap out of hitman 1 in the last few years on ps4, and then recently did the same for 2 but on pc now. I am back tracking to do the 1 maps again now, and still loving it. I don't remember much about the older games unfortunately, so maybe this map has already happened? I imagine it just like this, large scale hospital, with a roof top, and parking garage. Any exit is leading to the outside world, so the entirety of the playable map is all within, on top of the hospital, and then within the parking garage. What I imagine this map to be like is simple, a classic situation you'd see in a movie or TV show. The most recent example I can think of is Breaking Bad. The targets are a patient being guarded by police, likely either a witness to a crime, or a criminal they want alive for questioning. Also, another hit man sent in to take out the target, in which you have to make look like a freak accident occurred, so they don't escape unseen. And lastly, a janitor who's secretly an undercover agent, trying to keep watch over the victim/suspect in plain sight. The goal is to take out each target in specific places in order to make it seem like who killed who is obvious enough to close the case. I want a hospital with many floors, elevators, including inside the shafts, stairs, many tight spaces, plenty of access to poisons, regular sudden bursts into hallways of ER patients being rushed down long corridors. Blending in at the waiting room, playing doctor, references to both House M. D. and Scrubs, such as having Neil Flynn voice the undercover janitor because why the hell not? A wing dedicated to Ted, peons for life. Chief of medicines office with the name Cuddy on it. New weapons such as, surgical saw, bed pan, and crutches. New environmental hazards such as leaking iv, electric paddle crash cart, and shoving someone's head into the hazard bin where needles are disposed of. I'd love a map where things are a bit more close quarters, while still having plenty of ground to cover, and I think a hospital is perfect for a game like this. Your thoughts? [link] [comments]
Just started playing Hitman absolution... Posted: 28 Jul 2020 04:24 AM PDT And it is awesome. Why is it so underrated and hated? The mechanics are easy to understand, especially the shooting ones, the story is good so far(haven't finished it yet,no spoilers please),the graphics still hold up incredibly well and the voice acting is just as good as other games. The level design is a bit different but I think the sandbox style is kinda outdated and this fixes it that while still having many different ways to pass it. If the game continues Being that good(again, haven't finished it yet) it might honestly become my favorite hitman game. I have played blood money and honestly I think it's overrated. The 2016 one was better than blood money but I still didn't like it as much as I like absolution so far. [link] [comments]

My biggest issue with Hitman 2 and what I’d love to see in 3 Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:06 PM PDT Hitman has absolutely amazing AI in a lot of situations. It's clear that they're already pushing the consoles to the limit as is. But the one most jarring thing I find is the reaction to certain characters dying. Sometimes when a character dies in an accident, even people around them barely react. I seriously wish there were more of a freak out and haphazard blaming like you'd expect in real life. In fact, when you finish off a target it's like they never existed. No one in the camp really reacts besides maybe a brief lockdown. When you kill Sierra Knox in Miami for example, even if you blow up her car the announcers and audience sound as cheerful as ever. Hell her dad doesn't even react. A reaction from NPCs and a general change in mood would be much more immersive.imagine if in Miami the audience shifts to sobbing, the music stops playing. For sierras dad, he very broken up and you can see some character building through that In fact, if the next Hitman brings us more tools that allow us to do two concurrent assassinations (I would love that), it would encourage that a lot more. Take them out at once, and get out before people have their shit together. So far it feels very bland when I kill a character. There's a definite lack of impact. Infact, these applies to all reactions to 47s actions in the game. I take out 20 guys and leave them in a pile? People don't seem to act differently at all. in Hokkaido, I massacred half the hospital. Then when I shot solders the AI paged the director and he came into the theatre even though there was an obvious shooter There should be an obvious shift in pace and difficulty if you don't do a kill in absolute anonymity. IE the hospital starts to lockdown all doors if a shooter is radioed in. [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Jul 2020 02:35 PM PDT Ok, so here's the thing. I love playing Hitman and Hitman 2 because it is a beautifully made stealth game. The issue is is that after some time, the game gets a little lonely/boring. Sitting for hours on end being stealthy starts messing with your head after a while. Music does help a lot of the time, but not to the desired effect. So, what I want is to just chill in a discord call with someone whilst we both run the same level. This could either be through the "Ghost" multiplayer game mode, or with each person playing singleplayer on their respective computers. It makes the level become somewhat more fun because, while you may have down time (waiting for a certain NPC or waiting for an oppurtunity), the person you're playing with could be in the middle of an intense gun fight. By being in the same map, we also share different ideas that one comes up with while playing game like Hitman. If you are interested, hit me up. I myself am 17 years.
