Wondering if IO thought of introducing a tiered system for suspicion/breaking cover Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:25 AM PDT So, its a meme that if you turn a knob on a stove, a cook will eye you down and run to an enforcer and that enforcer will eventually shoot you. Pretty ridiculous and might ruin immersion sometimes. So, would/is IO make/making a system where different suspicious actions warrant different consequences? Like, people who witnessed you do illegal things would get dots above their heads after the incident is done/they tell you to go away and if they spot you, they will immediately get enforcers. Could there also be an opportunity where 47 would be escorted not only to an exit but also to an internment facility of some kind that 47 would then need to escape out of? This kind of mechanic would be exploitable as guards would bring you inside a restricted area for you to be imprisoned, but as you escape, you are able to move around the restricted area where it may be otherwise harder to get into. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 04:55 PM PDT In Hokkaido, the Patient Zero mission, Owen Cage says "I am coming, Mualim." Anybody know who or what this is a reference to or is this some unknown Hitman lore or an upcoming target? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Oct 2020 01:52 PM PDT What is your opinion on the extra objectives included in some of the story missions? (I'm referring to 'Destroy The Virus', 'Find The Maelstrom' etc.) I appreciate that IOI is trying to introduce some variety to its missions but personally, it doesn't work for me. I find that I enjoy the experience much more when my only goal is two assassinate my targets. The best missions in my opinion (being Paris, Hokkaido and Miami) are the ones that stay true to the nature of hitman, providing you with many ways to complete your task without being restricted by having to retrieve or destroy an item. Sapienza is one location which is severely affected by this issue, shooting the virus becomes tedious after the 17th playthrough and ruins the atmosphere, pushing the game from the 'dark/crime' genre towards the 'spy/action genre'. I would love to hear what other people think of this feature, perhaps it enhances the experience for some. [link] [comments]

I wanna see Agent Smith in the Hitman ||| game Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:42 AM PDT You know why absolution sucked? It didn't have any Agent Smith in it. A good Hitman game always has some form of Agent Smith [link] [comments]
What's the best way of deleting camera footage on Haven? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 08:41 PM PDT I just spent 40 mins on the pirate escalation because I got clipped by a camera and had to sneak under the mansion basement with no gun to delete the footage [link] [comments]

What are your specs, and what is your Hitman 2 performance? (For PC gamers) Posted: 24 Oct 2020 08:03 PM PDT Hitman 2 honestly requires a good computer to run well. I even had to add 4gb RAM before playing it, since I knew what I heard from people that it's tough to play with 8gb RAM. It runs decently, which is all I need. I have a A8 5600k processor, GTX 1060 3gb, and 12 GB ram. It ran better than I expected. Definitely not 60fps and very high settings, but definitely playable. For PC gamers, what are your specs and how well or terrible does Hitman 2 run on your computer? [link] [comments]
Hitman 2 Benchmark on RTX 3080, lower than expected FPS Posted: 24 Oct 2020 06:04 AM PDT EDIT: Tested a whole slew of games and ran Time Spy... All benches come back with significant improvements over the 1080ti. I suspect hitman is just not optimized great with regards to GPUs. Hello all! Wasn't too sure where I should post this, so I'll try here. I just got a 3080! Super exciting! Other Specs: Ryzen 3800x 32gb DDR4 3600mhz RAM Samsung 970 M.2 27gl850 monitor (1440p/144hz) I used to have a 1080ti. I ran some benchmarks before I got my card. Hitman 2 was one of them. On the 1080ti with everything maxed out and no HDR I had gotten a score from the Miami benchmark of 82 fps. I think the average framerate was higher, so no sure how they do the score, but it was 82. Not bad for a two gen old card! Popped in the 3080 last night and ran the benchmark again. Overall score of 97 fps. This isn't quite consistent with what I've been seeing in benchmarks around the internet...I saw a lot of benches where frames went up by roughly 50+ fps. Now I've tested DOOM Eternal, Control, and Borderlands 3 already and all of those had huge leaps; like double frames! Incredible! I have newest drivers 456.71 and installed with display driver uninstaller. So what am I missing with Hitman 2? Should I reinstall (it's huge I don't want to do that)...is there some setting somewhere I'm missing? Should I not trust DX12 and do the benchmarks in DX11? Is the "score" not the official number and you should use the average frame rate it gives? Any help appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
