    HITMAN on Stadia

    HITMAN launches on Stadia tomorrow and we're excited to welcome new players to the World of Assassination. As part of our preparations, we've put together some useful information for new players on what to expect.

    The entire World of Assassination trilogy will be available on Stadia. HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 will both be available starting from September 1st and HITMAN 3 will be available on 20 January 2021 to complete the trilogy.

    As we are able to have all of the games seamlessly in one place for the first time, you'll always launch HITMAN games on Stadia through HITMAN: World of Assassination. This is your hub for all things HITMAN on Stadia. It's where you'll go to play HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 and also HITMAN 3 when in launches.

    HITMAN: World of Assassination will be your destination whether you redeem HITMAN 1, which is available free in Stadia Pro, or you purchase HITMAN 2. When you launch the game, the menu and UI will be in HITMAN 2's visual style.

    You'll also get access to the ICA Facility location from HITMAN 1 and the Hawke's Bay location from HITMAN 2 regardless of which game you own. For example, if you are a Stadia Pro subscriber and redeem HITMAN 1, you'll also get access to Hawke's Bay and see how HITMAN 2 continues the campaign. In terms of game modes, Contracts Mode, Escalations and solo Sniper Assassin will be available, but Ghost Mode and Sniper Assassin co-op will not be featured.

    When HITMAN 3 launches on 20 January 2021, we'll update HITMAN: World of Assassination to include the design changes of HITMAN 3. If you can't wait until January, we've lined up some unique item variants for Stadia players that are unlocked simply by playing each game from the Trilogy. Here's how that breaks down:

    • Play HITMAN 1 to unlock the Sunset Rubber Duck, a remote rubber duck explosive.

    • Play HITMAN 2 to unlock the Orange Pinstripe Briefcase, the perfect place to hide your new rubber duck explosive.

    • Play HITMAN 3 to unlock the White Sunset Suit, which is certain to impress at any formal gathering.

    Watch our Stadia Announcement Trailer to see Agent 47 using the rubber duck and briefcase in Dubai. In the trailer, you'll see Agent 47 wearing the default starting suit for Dubai – and not the White Sunset Suit. As that's a HITMAN 3 unlock, we're saving it for a little bit later.

    • You will be able to upgrade to Deluxe Pack separately, post launch, if you bought Standard Edition.
    • Phantom suit will be unlock in H3, but it won't be easy to get.
    • The murder mystery in Dartmoor is just one mission story, they underlined this. So you can play it just like any other Hitman level.
    • Dartmoor has various biomes, you can explore the big manor + outside areas. There's hidden areas/doors.
    • You don't start in the Detective suit, you must get that yourself. Similarly to any other mission story. You start in Dartmoor starting suit
    • The murder mystery doesn't affect what your targets are in the level
    • The murder mystery is really unique, elaborate mission story, but again.. not the entire map, just a "regular" mission story, among other mission stories.
    • Audio guys etc. put lot of effort into making everything feel British, and each room feel unique
    • H1 and H2 launches on Stadia tomorrow

    VR section:

    • First person perspective is only for VR. Because it's designed for VR and required lot of tweaking. 1st person won't be in the normal game, even if it sounds simple to make it's not. Normal game is just 3rd person
    • In VR small openings like holes in fence become gameplay element, you can shoot from them
    • They amplified footsteps for VR, so you can hear guards approaching better
    • You can hide behind doors in VR
    • ...But it's also harder in some ways, because you don't have 3rd person view. So you won't see behind covers, without peeking your head
    • They had to adjust NPC vision, so they see your hands and head, if you peek corners
    • You can tap people on shoulder with your hand too, they turn to the side you tapped them on. Added mechanic
    • You can throw guns to some degree
    • You can clean the table as a Waiter, moving the rag yourself (while blending in). If you don't do it, it will start to become suspicious
    • For VR they made more subtle music mix, but music will be there
    • Move controls are not the plan.. for now. The VR is still WIP, it's not like move controls can't happen

    I'm working on collecting all the NPC dialogue I can with lore in it, and on Paris one of the auction members on the balcony mentioned hiring Noel Crest to "take care" of some lawyers. That name sounds extremely familiar, but the wiki didn't yield anything-- it just said Crest was in Lucas' militia. Is he mentioned anywhere else? Who is he? It rings a bell but I can't place why, and it's bugging me.

    Lucas Grey does disband the militia, but I don't think that's till later-- so the question is: did the militia just leave Sean and the others and clear out? Or did they just leave Sean?

    Why cant I load/start up hitman

    I've been playing hitman 2 for awhile and suddently It won't start or load i try pressing A then it dissappears then comes back i also try holding it down also tried to switch my account and turning my console off i even restarted it i would be grateful if someone could give me a suggestion or if vouve been through this before

    why arent hitman devs publish hitman 3 in the ps4 store over here in hk ?

    I checked the store in ps4 thinking that it would be amazing to play hitman 3 in vr so I wanted to pre order it. after going in the store it legit isn't there, like all the other vr games on ps4 like twd: s&s and espire 1. somebody explain ?
