me when the elusive target has no rewards

Don't know how known this is, but I found a gun buried in Isle of Sgail. I wonder what the story behind it is.

[Opinion] In Hitman 3, the last level, Untouchable (Carpathian Mountains) should have had killing every Providence member as an objective, that would not negate Silent Assassin ranking

    Posted: 18 May 2021 01:59 AM PDT

The reason is because, other than Contracts, it has been a tradition of the Hitman games for the last level always to be a "kill everyone" level. In Codename 47, you have to kill all the clones, in Hitman 2: SA you kill all of the Henchmen as well as Gontranno, Hitman Blood Money you blast all the guards and then even kill the civilian witnesses as part of the mission, Absolution had the similar thing at the graveyard.

I know Hitman 1 and 2 (new) didn't have this tradition, but since the World of Assassination trilogy sort of works as one long game, it would have been fitting to keep something similar for the last mission of the last game in the trilogy.

They did KIND OF keep the tradition, in that you are specifically told "providence members may be killed" and you are not penalized for killing them, but rewarded. However, you still don't get Silent Assassin rank if you kill anyone other than the Constant. IMO it should have had every guard, scientist, and civilian office worker be a red target. This would have made things even more interesting and unique. Also, the fact that killing everyone unnoticed in this level can be pulled off rather easily. In fact it almost feels like the level was designed with this in mind.

Even without making everyone a red target, they still should have at least allowed SA rank if all other requirements were met (no bodies found, crimes noticed, witnesses, etc.)

It seems to me that for purist types, this tradition was there for a reason. After spending the whole game (or trilogy) sneaking around and being careful and getting silent assassin on every mission, it's fun to build up to where you can finally let loose and unleash the psycho murderer, and still have it be part of the story.

Which target was the most satisfying to kill?

    Posted: 17 May 2021 09:45 AM PDT

I'm not talking about the actual act of killing the target - but rather, which target was so much of a bastard it was satisfying to kill them. For me it was Dawood Rangan, with the endangered tiger pelt and him being a total pervert, it was super satisfying to finally get rid of the fucker.

HITMAN 2016s Menu screen was the best out of the WoA Trilogy BY FAR

Does anyone else feel like this? Don't get me wrong, H2 and H3 both are cool and appealing in their own ways but I just loved having the map of the world with all of the animated flight routes. I just felt like it really added to the "International Agent/ James Bond" vibe.

Does anyone know why most of the escalations from Hitman aren’t on Hitman III?

    Posted: 18 May 2021 02:44 AM PDT

I reinstalled the first Hitman season the other day and realised that there was more escalations in the first season than there are in the final season?

Is this a bug or something? Do I need to have all seasons of Hitman installed to have all the escalations? Is anyone else having the same problem?

Thanks in advance. (I'm on xbox btw)

Hitman 2 on Steam, Hitman 3 on Epic

    Posted: 18 May 2021 02:42 AM PDT

    Hey Guys

    Dumb Question.

If I own Hitman 1 and 2 with steam and Hitman 3 with Epic Games Store. Is there a way that I can unlock previous levels that came with 1 and 2 with 3 including the sniper missions?

I have already linked the two accounts together and some of my progression has come from 2 to 3, but in order to get the other missions, it keeps wanting me to spend more money?

Finally completed showstopper buged challenge, here is what I did if you're still stuck here.

    Posted: 17 May 2021 08:01 PM PDT

Because im a dumb ass I forgot to record it but I remember everything, it's simple: 1.-start the mission as a stylist.

2.- go to the mockup and activate it.

3.- Sato will get mad, follow him closely and knock him out shortly after(there is a container very close so you can hide him).

4.- Viktor will pass through the makeup area shortly after, activate the mockup again, when the distraction is over, he will continue his path, a few seconds after he starts walking again toss a coin near the container to left of the mockup, his body guard should investigate, knock him out and wear his disguise.

5.- Go to the 3rd floor - attic, where there are some bodyguards with a bunch of computers, get the remote explosive.

6.- Place the remote explosive in the metal cables of the middle of the lighthing plataform and go back to the 1st floor behind the stage.

7.-Read carefully now Wait for Viktor to arrive, SAVE THE GAME when is ABOUT to start walking to the stage.

8.- Im not 100% sure here but count about 3 seconds when the crowd starts cheering for him and detonate the explosive.

I got the challege completed this way today, (took me like 4 tries, this is why you should save the game).

Question about the hitman wiki page for Blood Money’s “Death of a Showman”

    Posted: 17 May 2021 06:43 PM PDT

On the fandom wiki page for this level, under trivia, it says "The player is penalized if the divorce lawyer is set on fire and/or Scoop executes the gate guard".

What I am wondering is, how is the player penalized? It doesn't specify in what way the player is penalized, and to my knowledge nothing happens except that you don't have the lawyer as witness (which seems like the opposite of a penalty). So what is the article referring to?
