    Hey guys !

    I've been playin :

    - Hitman 2 : SA

    - Hitman : Contracts

    - Hitman : Blood Money

    - Hitman : Absolution.

    I loved all of them except for Hitman Absolution. I can't stress hard enough how much I disliked this game. I tried playing it when it came out and I tried again a few months back. Both times I couldn't finish the game (not because of the difficulty but because I didn't like the story/its mechanics, ... etc)

    Christmas is coming, I have some money to spend and I'd like to know if I should give the Hitman franchise another try or if I should buy myself another game.

    So my question is this : has anyone who really hated Absolution liked HITMAN™ ?

    Actually, everything is wrong with all 4 special assignments. Like the one in Miami, you can just simply kill the guy by an electrocution phone and get out in a few seconds

    But this one takes the cake for being the lamest.

    So at first glance, there is a laser system and a few officers outside, okay, let's sneak into the backyard, the gardeners have their backs turned to you. And then, I see that there is no protection or camera on the door... I just use a lockpick and inside, there are only two 'guards'. They can't do shit to you and you can just subdue the one on the ground floor and then the one with the target can be lured and subdued in many ways. And then you can get the target easily.

    No hate, but what was IO thinking while designing this one, there is no purpose of the lasers and you can easily shut them off from the basement.

    And bam, out in less then two minutes.

    What are your thoughts on this and the other special assignments of H2?

    Every single pathway is guarded, the compound itself is heavily guarded as well, guards react to any rustle you make while advancing through bushes. I've been able to pass that with no KO at last, but hell, shit took me a bit more than an hour to complete. Has anyone experienced so many issues with this mission as well?

    Elusive targets are frustrating for a completionist like me who was late to the party, so I've come up with a new way of doing it.

    All elusive targets are available from the start (if you have the mission, of course) But there's still a one-try system. If you fail, you have to wait a set amount of time (say, a week or so)

    Of course, there would have to be a sizeable reward for players who completed regular elusive targets, but I can't think of one at the moment.

    What are your thoughts?
