Posted: 12 Nov 2019 04:51 PM PST After watching the Legacy Opening Cinematic, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01bYEelwwHc, I thought about the canon ways targets from the 2016 and 2018 games have died and according to the opening, targets have canonically died certain ways. I'm very sure a majority of 47's MO is either unsolved murders or accidents. I think there are actually a few ways a few targets from the recent games have canonically died. According to Overachievers, Jasper Knight was killed by Erich Soders by a rigged ejector seat. In the second game during "The Finish Line", Heidi Santoro makes an appearence from the previous game and it is heavily implied that Jordan Cross was killed by 47 when he was disguised as Abel de Silva by pushing him off the roof of the hotel. Ken Morgan's death, according to a custodian in "The Ark Society", was ruled as an accident, so Cross pushing Morgan out a window is plausible, but so is Morgan being killed in a tuk-tuk explosion and I doubt that authorities would have counted him drowning in a toilet as an accident. Now I suppose these could be taken with a grain of salt and don't affect the overall story, but I think it wouldn't hurt to hear whatever people have to say. I'd say the cinematic or creative kills are the closest to being canon, but I want to hear what you all have to say. [link] [comments]

Miami (HITMAN 2) has an elaborate hidden assassination, what other ones are there? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 11:15 PM PST Spoilers for Miami below. it's possible to get Robert Knox's attempt to kill Moses Lee to backfire, ending the life of his own daughter Sierra in an elaborate manner using a car bomb and his own action. Are there any other hidden stories in HITMAN 2? [link] [comments]
Modded Mission: "Target Practice" [RELEASE] Posted: 13 Nov 2019 03:09 AM PST Alright chums; it's my pleasure to present to you the first mission made using mods (that's been posted anywhere, at least) This mission can only be played in OFFLINE MODE and replaces Freeform Training. The premise of this mission is you are given one target at a time, and can/should not proceed until you've killed the current target; who will the next target be? It's a mystery (Unless you play it over and over and memorise them all) Download "Target Practice" hereHow is this different to a custom contract?
I am taking feedback on this mission, so please give it a download and play and tell me what you think and if it was worth making. Here's what I can do using JSON modding:
Some things that may be possible if only I knew more about Javascript coding (I know absolutely nothing, I'm just dicking around):

Tuppence a Wish, Bangkok (Club 27) Posted: 12 Nov 2019 11:44 PM PST So I just completed "Tuppence a Wish," which in my opinion is the hardest challenge I've completed, besides The Classics on each map. I wanted to post what I did and ask what others did. I know that it's debated what needs to be done to complete the challenge. There's talk of bouncing coins on rocks and about 13 coins. I stood at the middle of the fountain length, at the middle of the rug width, and aimed coins just above the line of light in the mirror, as close to halfway along the line as I could. I had fifteen coins, 12 from the map, 3 from starting gear. I threw all 15. 2 went out of the fountain on the back. The moment the 13th coin went in, I got the achievement. The fountain is in Ken Morgan's Suite, for anyone who is confused. I wanted to post this to help anyone who may be struggling to figure out the challenge. It was a lot of hard work but I wanted another option of coins to use. Hope this helps someone out. [link] [comments]
If the International Contract Agency was real, what real life people would become targets? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 02:29 PM PST I've been playing the remastered Hitman Blood Money game, and noticed that the contract of Death of a Showman was contracted by a regular guy looking for justice for the death of his son. So it got me thinking that with all the similar real world situations like this, what real people would have become targets as a result? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Nov 2019 05:27 PM PST One of the main complaints I see is that when using sniper rifles, everyone automatically knows where the shot was fired from. My answer to this is a device which can make one loud noise before breaking/short-circuiting, and the noise is loud enough to cover up gun fire, screams, loud accidents, etc. The penalty for using it however is that it draws one person nearby and they become an enforcer for a while. So instead of 10 guys coming and sweepign the area, there's only one guy but he can find you easier. This would encourage players to use unsilenced weapons, and could maybe draw someone away from a target for a small time. The sound would change depending on the map, such as a chandelier falling in paris, a car alarm in morocco, etc [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Nov 2019 04:29 PM PST New to the series and I've only played hitman 2016 and hitman 2. Has it ever been possible to carry bodies instead of dragging? Having the option to carry bodies and maybe move a little faster would really come in handy in some situations. Love the game anyway. The only thing I can think of is having one more button prompt would probably be annoying. [link] [comments]

Playing through the story for the first time Posted: 12 Nov 2019 10:11 AM PST Just started playing this game. I bought Hitman 2 gold edition and I want to play through everything for the story. Would you recommend replaying missions just to do the 'recommended stories'. If I choose to come back to these later can I find them or are these only shown to me after completing the mission for the 1st time? [link] [comments]
Master -Terminal Velocity issue SA Posted: 12 Nov 2019 06:15 AM PST Has anyone had the issue of not getting SA because "bodies were found" even though throwing Dalia on to Viktor is an accident kill? Of course there were no bodies laying around, no cameras, I wasn't spotted, the only thing keeping me from SA was bodies found... also no other NPCs died other than the targets. I've repeated this method many times. I've read everywhere accident kills won't affect SA. Idk. I ended having to get this done the hard way by taking them out individually. It was stressful lol. Petition to IoI to change 'snap neck' to the 'G' key Posted: 12 Nov 2019 07:42 AM PST When you are in close combat with multiple NPC's it tends to happen that you will snap someone's neck while you are trying to pacify/knock out a second or even third target. The 'G' key is only used in opening stuff and this will unlikely cause conflict in a fight. This would give more control on who to kill and more importantly not kill. Edit: ads pointed out by these users even better would be the ability to map each individual action! "I want different buttons for different interactions. I'm sick of opening doors when I mean to dump bodies, and going into boxes when I meant to open doors." "Just let us map each action to whatever button we want. There's no need for these arbitrary restrictions on keyboard & mouse." [link] [comments] |
