I just spent the most agonizing hours of my life trying to do this challenge. Let us pay a moment of silence in honor of those who still can't do it.

    Two different generations of hitman

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 03:07 AM PDT

I've been playing the all the hitman games and noticed a pattern of ever increasing quality in each decade.

    Lays the foundation
    • Hitman 47(2000)
    • Hitman Absolution(2012)
Improves on the original by cutting away what didn't work
    • Hitman 2: Silent Assassin(2002)
    • Hitman 2016
    Further Improves
    • Hitman Contracts (2004)
    • Hitman 2 (2018)
Perfection, the game people will love for a decade
    • Hitman Blood Money (2006)
    • Hitman 3 (2021) hopefully

So at the beginning of this century, A team of people at IOI conceived Hitman codename 47 and all the games after that.

Then new people came in and further expanded what Hitman can be with Absolution (which I call the second generation) by adding new features such as contracts, a sniper mode, a cover system and scoring system. Lets see the evolution that the next generation of Hitman will bring us.

Suggestions for 4th poison type, for Hitman 3? (Here's mine)

    Posted: 25 Jul 2020 11:58 PM PDT

IMO would be interesting to have more than Emetic, Sedative, Lethal poison.

My suggestion: Poison that would make NPCs aggressive, so they engage in melee with nearest another NPC.

If the person you poisoned is a guard, he will knock out nearest NPC with one punch. If the poisoned NPC is civilian and starts to fight another civilian, again KO with one punch. But if a poisoned civilian (for example, Viktor Novikov) punches a guard, the guard will punch him out.

But either way, 47 doesn't take the blame, nor it will affect Silent Assassin rating. These scenes would also draw attention of other nearby NPCs, working as distraction. Guards would not shoot this poisoned guy (unlike 47 if he starts to punch randoms), just get him in line and say something like "Wtf went into you..."

If David Bateson modeled 47's face

    a co-op would be nice

    Posted: 25 Jul 2020 11:38 PM PDT

i think of a situation in wich, for example, one of the two players is a distraction and the other one knocks out the guard.

or one could be disguised as someone that leads the target to a place that the other player could kill him.

if you have got any ideas please reply to this post with them.

How would you feel about having outfit specific items that you spawn in with?

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 02:43 AM PDT

For example, I'd you spawn in wearing a suit, you can use the tie as a fibre wire. If you spawn in in an outfit that has sunglasses, you can use them as a distraction. If you spawn in with a suit that has a pin/badge on it, you can use that as a distraction/lethal weapon.

I think this will benefit the game as most people can only take in 1 extra item due to the lock pick being practically necessary. This will allow to have classic items such as a fibre wire and also bring in more unique items to make the sandbox more fun as many items are never brought into a mission because you need to save space for the necessary items.

This would also add an extra level of planning when picking your outfit as you now need to think what extra item you want instead of just picking the coolest outfit to spawn in with or picking an outfit that matches the map you are playing.

Edit: It could also make you want to unlock more suits aswell as the suit you get for completing silent assassin suit only could come with a better item, making unlocking this suit more desirable, making more people want to try silent assassins suit only

    What is your favourite level/map?

    Posted: 25 Jul 2020 03:19 PM PDT

Mine is Hokkaido, it's big enough to have fun but not to big that it is boring to traverse.

The outfits are cool and the microchip doors are creative.

(Also, killing everyone in patient zero is fun)
