    Folding smgs

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:47 AM PST

Remember sawn-off shotgun being holsterable? Considering that ICI smgs design based off those guns that when folded look like little briefcases, why not make them able to fold? I dont know about anyone else, but i myself dont use them as i see no reason to, beside better stats than guards smgs. With them being foldable and therefore conceable in a way, you can potentially walk with a weapon without giving yourself out.

Hitman: Codename 47 missions in Hitman: Contracts

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:30 AM PST

What missions are in there and are they in the same order?

I want to play the first game but I'm on Xbox and don't have a pc, so I bought the HD trilogy so I can get HM2SA and Contracts. Is it basically the same as playing Hitman CN47? Other than the other missions

    47 is immune to poison?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:34 AM PST

So I found this by coincidence while doing the Chili Shot challenge in the mission "The Finish Line". I poisoned the chili bottle with emetic rat poison and unknowingly consumed the glass that contained the poison (it was not until the 2nd time doing this did I know that I had to observe to make sure that Sierra drink the right shot). But then nothing happened... 47 didn't rush to the toilet to throw up xD

    Using ghost mode to coach?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:40 AM PST

I'm not super familiar with ghost mode but is there any room to use it to coach/watch another player? I haven't played it myself but I'm getting a family member into the game and wondered if it might be fun to try this just to sorta haunt their game (non competitive).

Any info on the limitations of this idea?

    Should I buy Hitman 2?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 02:05 PM PST

Played most of the Hitman games and thinking of buying Hitman 2. However, I played the 1st level demo and something didn't quite click with me; it seemed a bit off.

I enjoyed the 1st Hitman (as in the remake), but wasn't a fan of the firearms. I know it's a bit counterintuitive to want to go into a game like Hitman all guns blazing, but sometimes I feel like doing a chaos run. Anyway, the gunplay, generally, felt like shit and the firearms, clunky and the models rather bland, angular and ugly.

    I guess my questions are:

    1. Is gunplay more satisfying in 2?
    2. Is the game generally worth getting particularly it's currently on sale?
    3. Is the first level representative of the whole game? As mentioned above, the beach level seemed off to me.

I do have a massive game backlog, but 1 more wont hurt, I guess

    Cheers, guys.

I have a possible theory on the story of Hitman 3 and what the levels might be:

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 05:33 PM PST

Remember, this is all speculation and I'm sure a lot will not be true, but it's just a theory. I have only two potential ideas for what levels would be in the game. An England map is almost guaranteed, with the presence of the Carlisles, and by the fact that it's never been a map before in the series. (correct me if I'm wrong, I've played every game in the series except Codename 47) The other one is much more speculation based, but I'd say a Johannesburg, South Africa map is plausible. It's been mentioned quite a few times in HITMAN and HITMAN 2. The other levels would probably just be assassinating the other families the Constant mentioned. This is probably the most theory based thing I've said so far, but I think the Constant will somehow blackmail 47 into going taking out Diana, maybe by holding Lucas Grey at gunpoint or something. When he's about to kill Diana, 47 will learn that Lucas Grey escaped captivity, and Diana, 47 and Lucas Grey will hunt down and kill the Constant once and for all. Thanks for reading this wack theory, and have a nice day.

    Idea for a new gamemode

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:26 AM PST

Everyone starts as a random character on the map, complete with all the items that character has. Similar characters comprise factions. All of 47's spawns are active, so a few lucky players will get a random loadout and enhanced perception. These copies of 47 are assigned based on their starting disguise. Additionally, all smuggling spots are active with a random object. Last faction alive wins.

Did they change the damage animations and physics? They seem downgraded

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 04:25 PM PST

I remember when 2016 came out, I was blown away by how realistic the shooting deaths were. The blood effects were the most realistic I'd ever seen in a game, and there was such a variety of how blood would behave a splatter, like a headshot put a little splotch on the wall and then it would slowly ooze down the wall creating lines, and then sometimes little dots of blood would spray out. Also when shooting people, the way they reacted to the shots used to look a lot more cinematic and realistic, but I just got hitman 2 and now it all seems very toned down, and bullet holes don't appear on people when you shoot them until they are already dead. Why would they get rid of that?
