Posted: 21 Dec 2019 07:55 PM PST Hey, I was wondering how the Hitman movies are. Are they silly, self-serious, or dark? I may be interested in checking some out. [link] [comments]

How should I be playing this game? (Unlocks wise) Posted: 21 Dec 2019 08:43 PM PST I remember in the first one I really got burnt out on trying to complete the challenges on each map and grinding over and over, is there a better way to progress ? [link] [comments]
Now that there's no new content in Hitman 2, do you think it is as good as Goty Hitman 2016? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 04:34 AM PST I'll start, comparing both in a few catagories. Tutorial: Freeform training and final test are awesome intro levels. Hawke's bay is lacky and very empty. Goty 2016 wins 1-0 Mechanics an control: The addition of briefcase is pretty solid for H2. It also controls silk smooth. Definite improvement on 2016. H2 wins 1-1 Main game: While 2016 has 6 maps and H2 has 5, I think the overall quality of the maps in H2 is higher. On top of my head the only lacky map in H2 is Santa Fortuna. H2016 has some map I absolutely dread and do not want to touch after finishing them. Yes I'm talking about Colorado and Marrakesh. H2 wins 1-2 DLC content: This one's bit tough. Sniper assassin is sweet. I know they aren't very popular but I sort love all three detailed maps. Special assignments in H2 are meh for me. They are just... not much to them. Bonus episodes from season 1 is very good too. They changed the familiar map completely. I think these contents offer the same amount of entertainment to me. Now we are comparing the Patient Zero Campaign and two DLC maps in H2. Patient zero has some next level creativity, while both DLC maps are amazing. I guess it's a tie this round 2-3 Post launch support: Maybe the episodic model does help IO to add more content to their game. H2 have far less 'new' content than 2016. I dunno, maybe I just feel that for some reason. I have to five it to 2016. 2016 wins with small margin 3-3 Miscellaneous: 2016 has some sweet live action cutscene. But the briefing screen are power point presentations. H2's motion comics cutscene is very lackluster, its briefing is awesome though. Ghost mode in H2 is sweet. Graphics wise the bloom effect and lighting improvement are pretty good in H2, so I guess that goes to H2 in the end. H2 wins with small margin 3-4 Conclusion: H2 is a better game! Though the margin is small... I just hope we got more new stuff instead of a swarm of legacy things. Maybe make the special assignments a complete rework of the map, instead of something similar to a permenant elusive target. Also a shame ghost mode got dumped. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Dec 2019 03:27 PM PST so i have an idea for a hit man game set in a SLIGHTLY medieval setting, like in the game thief where it was not really medieval but it was still medieval, there would be various maps such as sewers, a prison, a faction base with tons of caves to explore, plus a pirate ship with treasure and a ghost inside it, There could be a rich nobleman's manor, or a haunted temple. There could be a new system where different materials make different sounds, such as stepping on hard surfaces will make a lot of sound, there could also be some weapons like a club for non lethal attacks and a bow and arrow complete with rope/grappling arrows and stuff like that, there would be flash bombs, grenades, spirtium (like a holy water of sorts) and of course, a good old fashioned SWORD! you would have an indicator on the HUD which would tell you if you can be seen or not, of course the game would also have a shadow system where you can shroud yourself in darkness so no one can see you, to expand on this, maybe you could use your arrows to dim torch lights so you cant be seen easily, loot would be a big part of the game where you can steal enough stuff to get gold so you can buy new weapons for future missions, you could even get a map so you can navigate around levels easier (not a mini-map) but a hand drawn map to keep some realism. The game could also allow you to hide dead bodies in shadows, and could even feature a system where enemies can get suspicious if they hear too much or see too much evidence of trespassing like bodies for example, and they will start to search for you. The game could have a DLC about, i dont know, a cult maybe? like a machine or magic cult would be cool, for the magic cult you could travel to alternate universes and fight monsters and stuff, but for the machines, you could explore steampunk based maps with new robot enemies and even security system with robot searchers that can act as cameras, maybe even disabling the machines and robots with the use of a level somewhere or it could even have a steam punk control room for all the robots that you can turn off, heck, why not add more underwater stuff like a steampunk-medieval style submarine? If you could only play one more hitman game ever, which would you pick and why? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 06:13 PM PST As the title says. Want to hear some thoughts on your favorite and what makes it so good to you. I have a few extra bucks and plan to buy one of the games [link] [comments]

Has an update broken the game? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 01:19 PM PST I've been able to play Hitman 2 with no problems for several months. Now all of a sudden it lags dreadfully after some updates - I'm not sure if system, driver or game. Even playing on the lowest settings doesn't help. No other games appear to be affected. I've tried rolling the OS back as far as I can which didn't work (I didn't realise this was an option until after the 10 days leeway had passed so I can't rule this out), and I tried deleting and reinstalling GeForce Experience with the DDU module while offline so I could reinstall an earlier version of their driver which also didn't work. Both of those are now as up-to-date as they can be in case the problem lies there somewhere. Could it be that a content update has added in new minimum requirements, possibly for VRAM? The Steam store page still indicates I should be well above the minimum. My game version is 2.72.0. My system specs are: Laptop: Asus GL553VD OS: Windows 10 v10.0.18363 Processor: Intel i5-7300HQ (2.5Ghz) Memory: 24GB RAM Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1050 Hopefully I'm not alone in this. Cheers!
