So am I the only one that took this long to realize "Mr. Rieper" is a Grim Reaper pun?

    Posted: 23 Oct 2019 07:15 PM PDT

I am ashamed of myself. My wife was in the room as I was finishing Haven Island and she laughed when the Spa checked me in as Mr Rieper.

As soon as she laughed it instantly hit me, but I don't know how I didn't realize that sooner.

Maybe because Agent 47's used that alias for so long now, or maybe because I play with subtitles on I've always just read the name, and never actually processed what the name sounds like.

Anyway, am I the only one that missed this? What are your favorite Hitman jokes/puns that may have flown under the radar?

    Poison cloth idea

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 12:19 AM PDT

    Quick fun idea.

How about you can poison distractions like radios/taps and power outlets etc with a poison cloth?

Could give you a few more options than poisoning drinks and is tricky enough that you need to lure the correct person.

Would need to be tested tho.

Don't ask, Don't tell ... Agent 47 is gonna need some personal space after this.

Stupid question, but: is there some common understanding on the quietest takedowns / actions?

    Posted: 23 Oct 2019 05:15 PM PDT

It sounds basic, but it's something I always wonder while playing and wanted to see if there is some common understanding here for certain mechanics I may not know about. There may not be a cohesive answer here either.

    Example Scenario:

A target is directly in front of me, facing the other direction, and has a nearby pal. I have multiple options for elimination and line of sight is not an issue. I have a hammer, a knife, a fiber wire, and a silenced Silverballer.

So my options are roughly: 1) Sneak up and choke out by hand 2) Sneak up and snap neck during choke 3) Sneak up and use the fiber wire 4) Sneak up and stab with knife 5) Sneak up and pacify with hammer 6) Throw the knife at them 7) Throw the hammer at them 8) Shoot them in the head with the gun

How would you roughly rank these from quietest to loudest, with the least chance of getting the attention of his pal? I understand it also varies by difficulty/scenario, but I can never tell. I also get that the gun will probably always be the loudest in most cases, but am curious.
