    Chongqing, China (NEW LOCATION)

    ---

We are super excited to announce a brand new HITMAN 3 location. Welcome to Chongqing, China.

    TRAILER

The rainy, neon-lit streets of Chongqing are full of shops and food stands, all crammed into narrow alleys and passageways – with plenty of secrets hidden off the beaten path. This Chinese transportation hub is the perfect destination for us to showcase just some of the refinements and improvements coming to the technology that powers HITMAN 3.

HITMAN 3 is powered by IO Interactive's proprietary Glacier engine and will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI. Chongqing also features full water effects with details such as rain drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing HITMAN 3.

On next-gen consoles, HITMAN 3 will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR support. Our new 'Under The Hood' trailer also showcases smooth gameplay moments captured in Chongqing that show off the refinements to interaction animation and AI. In other locations, such as Dubai, Glacier's crowd technology will allow up to 300 active NPC's in a location at once.

HITMAN 3 players can import locations from the previous games in the trilogy and have more than 20+ locations under one roof. All of the improvements to rendering, animation and AI introduced with HITMAN 3 can be enjoyed across all three games, making HITMAN 3 the ultimate place to play the entire World of Assassination trilogy.

Timeline of the entire Hitman story so far [OC] (I spent an unreasonable amount of time researching and designing this)

Broke my Hitman virginity via XSX backwards compatibility today. Started on Hitman 2 and I’ve just blasted the head off that bald, military uniform wearing, heavy drinking and non-smoking b***** through some snowy window, and I can’t wait to Silent Assassin the rest of the games!

    Why I don't think Lucas betrayed 47.

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 09:14 PM PST

There are few reasons because of this. One is that it would make no sense if grey was showed as an antagonist in the first game, tritagonist in the second game and then back to antagonist in the third. It would be insanly predictable not to mention it wouldn't make much sense. Also, I feel while he did lie to 47 he did not betray him. It was pretty obvious he really hated providence and he had his reasons. Since the partners were stripped of all of their resources, it would be basically pointless to kill them since they aren't a threat anymore and won't be for a VERY long time since all of their money and resources were transferred to the constant (Arthur Edwards) and they had built these up for generations. Not to mention almost all of their assets were killed. However Grey realized that if he told 47 the truth, 47 would not kill the partners. So he lied about the message he received from Oliva so he could kill the partners for all the pain they had caused him. Also if he was working with Edwards and/or wanted to take over providence, then why did he killed their operatives? It makes no sense, also why would he kill janus if he worked with the constant? He could've been like "yo 47 I just found this dude at a meeting with some other guy or something" I don't know. It makes absolutely no sense if grey wanted to take over providence and it makes very little sense if he worked for the constant. Anyway, these are just my thoughts and I'm sure the game is going to complete crush them into oblivion as soon as the game comes out so whatever lol.

    Briefcase

Fun fact of the day: If you hold briefcase and a katana, then switch to a two handed wepon, you will still hold the briefcase! You can also aim and shoot normally.

I am convinced that his first name is 47.

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:40 PM PST

I think in Hitman (2016), Diana asks him what is his name and he utters 47.

She then responds, 47 is not a name and he says then make it one.

He did not say Agent 47, so Agent is not his first name but 47 is his first name.

    Thoughts?

We need a remaster for every hitman game.

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:27 PM PST

    So here's my idea:

We need to remaster every hitman game in the world of assassination style.

47's WOA model, WOA graphics, EVERYTHING.

Now you might possibly be thinking, "Aren't there already remasters for Blood Money and Absolution?" No those were bad we don't talk about them.

    We need this.
