    Do challenges carry from one game to another?

    I'm currently trying to complete every single challenge in Hitman 2, I bought the legacy pack so that it comes with the previous Hitman levels. My question is, when I buy Hitman 3, since I already own 1 and 2, the levels should be unlocked in the third one, but will the challenges show up as completed? For example, if I bought Hitman 1, finished all the challenges, then bought Hitman 2, I know I'd already have the levels unlocked, but will the challenges show up as completed in the second game as well?

    Reporter Side Mission, Patient Zero style.

    Hitman III is less than 100 days away and I'm unbelievably excited, and it got me thinking about what else than the main story could actually be included.

    I think it would be an awesome little bit of side story where there are reporters investigating the disappearances/ deaths of some of your victims. This would give us the chance to replay our favourite maps like Sapienza, Miami, Whittleton Creek etc... with a different layout l, old paths blocked by enforcers who recognise your face.

    Additionally, it could also work with how Patient Zero in Hoddiako worked (where the infection spread) but instead of infection it was enforcer icons spreading, as the reporter strewn about the map and spoke to more people, more and more of those people would become enforcers.

    It would definitely add an extra challenge to some of the maps as well as bring a fresh feel to them.

    Remember in older hitman titles to unlock new guns you had to exit the level with them, why cant new hitman do that for outfits?

    and really bring back reasons to replay levels

    find a crossbow and exit level with it and use crossbow on any level

    leave level as a mime, start any level as a mime

    New Gadgets?

    Anybody know what new gadgets will be in H3? I'm guessing the existing ones will be unlocked as MK III, which will leave little room for new ones. How about a tripwire crossbow that can pierce 2 targets?

    Strange FPS drops on RTX 3080

    Hello! It looks like there's a decent amount of people that get technical assistance on this subreddit so I thought I'd try - wasn't able to find my problem mentioned anywhere else.

    Specs (new build): i9 9900k RTX 3080 32 GB RAM

    When I play Hitman 2 at 4K on Ultra settings, I'm getting FPS drops into the mid 50s, for several seconds at a time, and the drops continue throughout the session. Running on DX12 and skipping the startup (using the steam startup command "-D3D12 -SKIP_STARTUP"). According to all of the benchmarks I've found, the game should be running at 80+ FPS on Ultra settings with this graphics card.

    I can do two things to bring the FPS to a smooth 60:

    1) Turn off SSAO 2) Go into Windowed mode

    In Windowed mode, the game is baby butt smooth even with SSAO turned on. Same for Exclusive Fullscreen with SSAO turned off.

    I can provide more details if necessary - but it seems like something is wrong here. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

    He always comes up in my recommended and I feel like the randomizer mod videos would be funny if made by someone more entertaining like bigmooney. Idk I just find Cheri's commentary to be boring and unfunny
