    Sniper Assassin: take my $

    In the million-to-one chance that an IO or Warner employee happens to see this, the three sniper missions are some of the most fun I've had gaming in awhile, and I would pay full price for a Hitman game with 15-20 maps like that.

    I laughed out loud at the bro jumping up and down in the hedge maze, and learned that if a victim doesn't fall in the water as intended, just keep shooting him and eventually he'll go. I love the little blurbs about the targets on the menu screen, especially how Dragon Lily isn't really a master martial artist, she just does flashy stuff to fool people.

    Hitman 2 Expansion Pass - Recurring Download Issues - Steam

    EDIT: Before you bother reading my wall of text, I woke today to discover that the problem has somehow fixed itself. The download has now gone from my list and my game folder remains at 149GB.

    Problem solved but not understood lol.

    I have searched around a bit for a post addressing my issue but have found nothing. I am very confused so wondering if any other Steam user has encountered this...

    I got the base game on sale not long ago and have since bought the Legacy GOTY pack and the Expansion Pass. Legacy GOTY downloaded and plays no problem, however the Expansion Pass which I bought two days ago has now restarted after downloading four times. Stranger still, I can now play the expansion pass content, but the 25gb download persists even after trying numerous times to verify cache and restart both Steam and my PC.

    The expansion content appears in the game properties in Steam and in the game menu/store as expected. I have watched it reach 100% download four times now and have even unchecked the expansion DLC in properties to try and force it to stop downloading what I assume is the same 25gb over and over again.

    I cannot say for sure if the game folder itself is the right size, as I didn't check it before downloading the first time. My Hitman 2 folder is currently 149GB.

    So I sit here and wait for what would be the fifth or sixth time downloading wondering why it insists on restarting every time, and verifying the game files tells me I have all necessary files and begins/ resumes the download again anyway.

    For the record, the game is installed on an SSD which is a secondary install path to my main Steam directory. But as mentioned, only the expansion pass seems to be a problem.

    Any other PC players out there ran into similar issues with this game? Would really appreciate any insights or possible solutions.
