What's the map that made you first think "Now I've got a grip on this game"?

It can be any map from any installment of the francise.

For me it were "New Life" in BM and "Golden Handshake" in Hitman2.

Both are small maps with limited numbers of "identities" and I would say the way to nudge the characters onto the tracks scripted by designers (i.e. opportunities) are fiarly straight forward.

So that's why when I had familirized myself with these maps, I felt kind of "ominscient", knowing where items are placed and what clothes can get me to what kind of places. This game provides us with a sandbox map, and it is only when I finally stumbled upon a small and delicate sandbox in my playthrough that I find the beauty of this game.

Possibly an unpopular opinion about the knock out system

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 09:27 AM PST

Subduing so fast/easy and lock-on object throws to the head are too OP with the current game's design and make most gadgets and other possibilities take a back seat in most cases. I know they are pretty fun mechanics and add to the game for sure, but i would really like to see them toned down in the future or have that as an option. There could be many ways to make it a bit more balanced and take advantage of the so many different objects on our disposal laying around. For example, "timed" and "object specific" knockouts could be a thing. A blow to the head with a wrench from point blank should be way more effective than a police baton throw to the head from far away. One should have the victim knocked out for longer than the other one etc.(MGSV had a similar knock out timer depending on the means that you used to knock out a person) Throwing stuff to the head could also be balanced with a simple removal(or option of removing) of the auto lock on system and instead have a manual targeting wind up throw, where hitting a running target is harder and only direct throws to the head knock people out. Anywhere else they could work just like losing their balance and falling down. Sedative syringes and chloroform could be the only trustworthy means of securing a permanent knock out, whilst everything else would have you thinking if its worth knocking them out for a short amount of time (with the risk of alerting others) and how to proceed.
