    Hey all, little survey here.

    Been playing this game since hitman 2: silent assassin as a kid and played hitman pretty badly and frustratingly till blood money ('running out of ammo' bad). Then one day I accidentally saw blood money speedruns (SA hitman accident-only etc) where a guy will basically dance his way through the level killing the targets and causing accidents as fast as possible and wuite gracefully too. I fell in love with the styling and I started trying to play the same breezing-through style (while absolution was not my favorite, speed running the is still something I recommend watching).

    Fast-forward to hitman 2, I find myself in a bit of a conscience crisis. I like to play as fast as possible and get the SA rating, but I'm not having as much fun as I could, a lot of small details passing me by. But at the same time, every time I get spotted due to some stupid mistake, I feel compelled to restart since I won't get my precious rating.

    The questions : -How do you guys deal with sub-par rating while still enjoying the game? -Should I just ignore the ratings and kill indiscriminately so long as I don't get caught?

    Tl:dr: I know some may tell me to play as I wish but unfortunately I'm stuck between playing the game as well as I can (sa suit only etc) and as fun as it can be ('Goldeneye' stealth)

    Opinions welcome anyways, of course!

    Does anyone else feel like Miami is the perfect size for a map in these games?

    It's large enough to make you feel like you're always discovering something new, but not so big that you feel overwhelmed. Also the colour and atmosphere of the level never gets old. On the other hand, maps like Marrakesh and Mumbai ultimately feel to large and dull that I effectively choose to avoid replaying them given that they lack diversity in their map design.

    A close second to Miami would have to be Hokkaido, Sapienza or Thailand as they share that similar inviting atmosphere and aren't too big or overwhelming.

    What do you's reckon?

    I think some of the best were for Hitman Contracts like this one for asylum aftermath They got rid of this by contracts but I loved them. They were dark and set the mood for the level and often like this one from Contracts again gave glimpse of what a "real world" set from the level would look like as well as the tools of the trade you'd have to use.
